The Gratitude Gourd

Description:

Are you tired of just sitting in a circle at Thanksgiving and saying what you’re thankful for? Worrying about what you are going to say, and ultimately, repeating what someone else said and feeling bad about it? Well this is your game. It’s a fun game to play on Thanksgiving, but really anytime of the year is a good time to express your gratitude. Play at awkward family dinners and with friends to grow closer, and NOT talk about what you plan to do after high school for the 1,000th time. Enjoy!

Directions:

Roll two dice; if you roll snake eyes, you can choose if it counts as a one or two.

Read the instructions on the gourd that correspond to the dice rolled.

Tell your table your answer, and pass the dice and gourd to the next person.

Everytime you repeat something somebody said, you get a point.

The person with the least amount of points wins.

Making it Yourself:

If you want to make it yourself, just find a gourd from a local farm or buy it online. Then, paint it a solid base color - make sure it is easy to read from. After that, write all the things/situations you could be grateful for/in. Once finished, add any other embellishments and start playing!
