Covid Crisis Solution

Should I get the vaccine? Is it safe? Does it work? These are all questions many Americans today are asking. In our day and age, everything said by the media is instantly believed. This is the cause for many of our misconceptions in life involving almost everything. The covid vaccine has been a big debate amongst all communities and career fields, all having different opinions. The biggest issue is people look at it in ways that aren’t backed by facts. Many look at it from a political standpoint and view it as one party versus another. Others choose to take a religious standpoint, but not many look at it from the standpoint that is most reliable. That standpoint is science, it proves points through facts rather than opinions. Many people choose not to believe anything that comes from this standpoint due to their ignorance of the subject. However, you can’t prove statistics and facts wrong, so let’s dive into that.

One of the very first points that people bring up is how quickly the vaccine was developed. Yes, this is a scary thing when just hearing that it was made in less than a year. However, many people don’t look past that. The typical time for a vaccine to be developed and approved is anywhere from 4-12 years from start to finish. Automatically you realize that the covid vaccine is nowhere near as long as that. The covid vaccine has higher statistics for effectiveness and side effects than most that have been developed much longer. That is insanely impressive. Not to mention the success rate it has had with different variants of the virus. Many other vaccines that were developed on the higher end of the time scale caused many problems in our society. Some caused diseases and health problems rather than fixing them.

Along with the common logical concerns, there are also a lot of theorists out there that have really concerned many across the country. Many people think that the government is going to chip and track you. This couldn’t be any more false. The Gates Foundation has come out to say that this theory is very false but they are funding research for technology that can tell whether you got a vaccine or not. That technology doesn’t include a chip of any type. The government has no purpose in chipping you, they are more concerned about saving lives. Another huge conspiracy is that the vaccine is going to kill you, no! There have been over 2.18 million vaccines distributed and there are no proven cases that link the vaccine to killing people.

I’m pretty sure everyone is over this crazy world and all the struggles we now face due to this pandemic. If none of the reasons above have convinced you to get the vaccine maybe this will. Due to the pandemic we now have to wear masks everywhere, we can’t eat out or do fun activities as we used to and we can’t see all our loved ones. Getting the vaccine would help us work our way there. We need to vaccinate at least 80% of the population before we can even consider moving onto herd immunity. Herd immunity is when enough people in the population are immune to make the spread unlikely and keep others safe. The more people that refuse to get it the longer we’ll be stuck in this terrible world.

Although the thought of a vaccine that was developed in such a short amount of time is scary it has actually been proven to be safer than others who took triple the time to be made. All the concerns with chipping and the vaccine causing death have been debunked and proven to be incorrect. Not to mention we are all over this crazy world. If you are 16 or older and have the vaccine available to you to get, I strongly advise you get it because it would do so much for our world as well as protect you. For everyone that is younger than 16 just be patient all the trials for you are being done so you can get it and be safe too.
