Each year, the Greenwood FFA Chapter celebrates National FFA Week to help students around the school understand all of the impact that FFA has on its members. This year, it is from Tuesday, February 20th to Friday, February 23rd. The Greenwood FFA Officers have come up with the themes of . . .
Tractor Tuesday - On Tuesday, make sure to wear your red, green, blue, or orange to support your favorite tractor. This can be in support of tractor brands such as Case IH, John Deere, New Holland, Kubota, and more!
Western Wednesday - On Wednesday, be sure to break out your western wear. In doing so, remember that you must still follow the school’s dress code, and you are not permitted to wear a hat. Let’s fill the school with jeans and cowboy boots!
Camo Thursday - On Thursday, dress like a hunter!
Apparel Friday - On Friday, we will close out the week by wearing Greenwood FFA apparel. If you do not own any FFA clothing, feel free to just wear your blue and gold.
Not only will there be daily themes throughout the week, but the Pennsylvania State FFA Officers will be visiting on Tuesday, February 20th. All seven state officers will be around all day in the Ag Wing. If you have an Ag class, you are guaranteed to see them and enjoy the activities that they have prepared for you. Even if you are not involved in any Ag classes, keep your eye out for them throughout the day! In addition, the Greenwood FFA Chapter will be hosting Hoss’s Night on Tuesday night alongside the State Officers. If you are a member of the FFA and would like to attend this delicious meal, see the sign-up sheet outside of Mr. Clark’s room.
